PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Connecting, Learning, and Growing Together

Dear IE-CAMFT Members,

As we welcome Mid-October, I want to take a moment to reflect on the importance of connection, community, and the relationships we continue to build within IE-CAMFT.

Over the past several months, our chapter has been working to create more opportunities for professional development, meaningful engagement, and collaboration throughout the Inland Empire.

From member gatherings to continuing education opportunities, each event reminds us that IE-CAMFT is more than a professional association. It is a community of mental health professionals who learn from one another, support each other, and grow together.

As we move into the final months of 2026, we invite you to continue being part of that growth.

Here's what's happening at IE-CAMFT!

Looking Back: September Member Appreciation

Celebrating Our Members and Our Community

September was an opportunity to recognize the professionals who make our chapter what it is.

Our Member Appreciation gathering was designed to bring colleagues together, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the contributions of mental health professionals throughout the Inland Empire.

We are grateful to everyone who continues to invest their time, energy, and ideas into making IE-CAMFT a welcoming and supportive professional community.

Whether you have been a member for years or recently joined, you belong here, and your participation matters.

Help Shape the Future of IE-CAMFT

Join an IE-CAMFT Committee

One of our priorities for the 2026–2027 year is creating more opportunities for members to participate in chapter leadership and programming.

You do not need to serve on the Board of Directors to make a difference.

We welcome members who are interested in contributing their perspectives, skills, and creativity through our chapter committees.

Whether your interests include professional development, membership engagement, community outreach, or supporting chapter events, there are meaningful ways to get involved.

Your voice matters, and we want our chapter to reflect the diverse experiences and professional interests of our Inland Empire community.

Interested in joining a committee? Reach out to IE-CAMFT to learn more at

Important Administrative Update

IE-CAMFT Email Address Is Changing

Beginning December 1, 2026, IE-CAMFT will transition to a new administrative email address:

iecamft.admin@gmail.com

Our current email address,
iecamft@gmail.com, will be discontinued after November 30, 2026.

Please update your contact records to ensure you continue receiving chapter communications without interruption.

Thank you for helping us make this transition smooth!

Chapter Leadership & Governance Updates

IE-CAMFT Bylaws Update: Looking Ahead to 2027

As part of recent changes to CAMFT's bylaws and Chapter Agreement, all CAMFT chapters will be reviewing and updating their bylaws during 2027.

IE-CAMFT's Board of Directors will begin this process to ensure our chapter remains aligned with CAMFT requirements while exploring opportunities to strengthen our governance and better serve our members.

Once proposed updates have completed the required review process, members will have an opportunity to vote on the revised bylaws.

Your voice matters, and we look forward to keeping you informed throughout this process.

A Message from the President

IE-CAMFT Email Address Is Changing

As we continue building the next chapter of IE-CAMFT, I want to thank each of you for being part of this community.

My hope is that IE-CAMFT continues to be a space where professionals feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to contribute—not only through attending events, but also by sharing ideas, building relationships, and participating in leadership.

Our chapter is strongest when our members feel connected to its mission and to one another.

There is room for your voice, your experience, and your leadership here.

Thank you for being part of IE-CAMFT. I look forward to everything we will continue building together.

Warmly,

Dr. Muriel Casamayor, DSW, LMFT
