There are four types of membership available:

  • Clinical (licensed MFT)
  • Pre-licensed (trainee, intern, marriage family therapist associate, social work associate, clinical counselor associate)
  • Affiliate (licensed in a related mental health field, e.g. LCSW, LPCC; or practitioner in another field, e.g. RN, attorney)
  • Honorary (retired mental health professionals nominated for outstanding service)

In order to join our local chapter, you  must be a member of  State CAMFT.  State CAMFT membership is secured through CAMFT directly at camft.org

In order to register for a seminar at the member rate, you MUST APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP FIRST and wait for your state CAMFT membership to be verified and your chapter membership activated PRIOR to registering.
 
IE-CAMFT dues are paid annually on a rolling monthly basis, so your membership will come due the same month each year as the month in which you joined.  We meet monthly on the fourth Friday each month except July when we have the annual board/committee retreat and December when we hold a holiday social event instead.
