Interview with Erin Fox

Fire Season is upon us. We have a critical need for volunteers. We will be sharing opportunities where you can make an impact on those who need it most. Those affected by disaster. Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Whether helping one displaced family or thousands, providing comfort and care to an ill or injured service member or veteran, or teaching others how to respond in emergencies, it’s through the efforts of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things. The Red Cross responds to an emergency effort every 8 minutes, and our vital work is only possible because of people like you.

Objectives

1. Participants will identify steady state vs. operational state
2. Participants will learn of volunteer opportunities
3. Participants will learn what it is like volunteering with Red Cross as a Disaster Mental health professional.
4. Participants will learn how to become a Red Cross volunteer.
