We are proud to welcome both authors and program providers to display information on their product, (books, CEU training, etc.). Please be available to show and sign your books and products. We are excited to see the body of work our local clinicians are producing. You may want to consider adding to your library, and or holiday shopping for others.

I hope everyone is having a fun (and sometimes relaxing) summer.  If you haven't had enough relaxing, catch up soon.  We're already in August!  My kids just turned 21 and 18 so I should be an expert on adulting so!  We learn new things as we traipse along.

Your Board met for the Board Retreat in July.  We were guests of Keyvan in her lovely home.  Individual shoulder massages were provided for everyone by Jennifer and Persian food was catered for lunch.  We worked on updating the bylaws, which will be going before you for a vote soon. Amanda led us in a drum circle (do you still call it a drum line?) before we headed for home.  Noticed Carol and Jeanne were especially energized.  Perhaps Amanda can show us more drumming soon...  We explored improving or creating what all of us in the chapter do for the year.  More to come!

The 3000 club meeting is on Saturday the 29th of July from 6-8pm at The Brickwood Social Tavern in Riverside at 3653 Main Street, Riverside CA, 92501

Come join us for Self-care Saturday! This is your chance to meet other interns in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Network and get information on upcoming events while having a nice beverage. Hello everyone.  We are not having an IE-CAMFT meeting this month.  Hope you are having a relaxing and exciting summer!  Your Board will be meeting at the end of July to plan the year's events, and we are looking at some minor changes to the bylaws.   More CEUs to come in August.   Please let us know if you have any ideas about presenters. Ilse has worked hard to get outlines and info from the seminar presenters so we can provide you with CEUs every month.  Sherry has worked very hard to create the 3000 Club.  All pre-licensed therapists please attend the 3000 Club so we can support you.  Let any board member know if you have ideas for making our Inland Empire CAMFT able to serve you better.  See you in August!!

Welcome.  A special welcome to new members.  This is Your Chapter of CAMFT.  Let us know on the bottom of your evals (at the end of each presentation) what topics you are interested in.  Request presenters also.  All of you are welcome to attend the board meeting from 11 to 12 each 4th Friday of the month after the speaker.  Thank You to Amanda Cavicchi who has volunteered to help on the Board.

In July your Board will meet in a Board Retreat to set up the schedule for the upcoming year.  Ilse has done a wonderful job planning and following up with setting up presentations and CEs.  A great big THANK YOU to Carol for all her work on the website and getting us organized and moving.  What a job she has had to keep track of members and payments. Sherry has given her time to start (and continue) the 3000 Club as well as giving us a wonderful private practice presentation.  What great accomplishments for her Presidency!!  Steve has kept the finances in order.  Garry has watched over the Board making sure we keep on track with the bylaws and reminding us of our history as a Board. Martha has carefully taken notes each month for the minutes and kept track of our duties.  Jeanne and Annette have brought us breakfast for a couple of years! Don't know if we could have stayed awake without it. Thank You!!  Of course Garry's coffee helped.  We look forward to seeing more of Keyvan and Omar and we appreciate their help. Omar has been our social media guru!

It only takes a few of us sharing the work to run this Board.  Help us give you these great presentations!! Think how wonderful it would be to be able to call a colleague for a consult or for info.  I did this a couple of months ago.  Two texts and I had my answer.

I wanted to inform you about an upcoming event in our therapy community Call 2017 Shine Retreat for Women. It is a weekend retreat available to all women. Its purpose is restoration, fun, and to connect. It is being held September 29-October 1, 2017. The hosts are Mari A. Lee, LMFT and Anna Osborn, LMFT both state CAMFT members.
