Thank you for your interest in volunteering with IE-CAMFT! Our chapter runs on the time and talent of members who step up to lead, plan, and build the community we all benefit from. Whether you have a few hours for a one-time event or you're looking for an ongoing leadership role, there's a place for you here.
Ways to Get Involved
Board Leadership Our board is made up of member-volunteers who guide the direction of the chapter, from programming and finance to membership and outreach. Board terms offer a chance to build your leadership resume, expand your professional network, and shape the future of IE-CAMFT. Board meeting attendance is required and are generally held once a month over Zoom after the chapter's seminar presentation.
Committees Committees are where a lot of the chapter's work gets done, and they're a great way to contribute in a specific area you care about without taking on a full board role:
- 3000 Club — outreach and engagement with pre-licensed members working toward licensure
- Website Modernization Committee — help us improve the chapter's online infrastructure and member experience (12-month initiative)
- SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Development Committee — help document and standardize the chapter's operating procedures
- Membership Committee — support outreach, growth, and member engagement and retention
