Even though we’re a bit late — Happy New Year!
As we step into 2026, we hope this year brings you continued connection, grounding, and support — both personally and professionally.
As clinicians, our work does not happen in isolation. Healing happens in relationship, in community, and within the systems we help our clients navigate every day. Advocacy is not separate from therapy — it is woven into it. Advocacy shows up when we name systemic barriers that impact mental health, when we practice ethically and courageously, and when we remain engaged with the realities our clients and communities are facing.
Advocacy can look many ways:showing up for clients whose lives are impacted by policy and access issues, supporting fellow clinicians through collective care and mentorship, staying informed about changes that affect our profession, and creating spaces where connection, learning, and belonging are possible. It also means caring for ourselves and one another so we can continue to do this work with integrity and sustainability.
As an IE-CAMFT community, we remain committed to fostering spaces that center collaboration, professional growth, and community engagement — especially during times of uncertainty and change. We’re excited to share several upcoming events, opportunities, and ways to stay connected in the months ahead.
