On June 6, 2015, the Board approved the following proposed language for a Policy Restricting Advertising Sexual Orientation Change Efforts (SOCE) or Reparative Therapy in CAMFT Publications:
“CAMFT does not accept print, electronic, or any other form of advertising, that is intended for publication by CAMFT, or inclusion in any CAMFT medium, which offers or promotes sexual orientation change efforts, reparative therapy, and/or conversion therapy.”
The Board is seeking member feedback to this proposed policy language through Tuesday, June 30, 2015.
