Wow are we really in November? How did that happen? Let me take this time to remind you that our meeting this month will be earlier than our usual fourth Friday of the month. This month’s meeting will be on November 15th. Please make a note of this in your Calendar. Our speaker is Dr. Maxine Langdon Starr, speaking on an interesting subject: “At the Intersection of Depth Psychology & Self-Care: an Alternate New Lens on Motivational Interviewing.” Another interesting topic to give you new insight and offer another opportunity to acquire 2 CEU’s.

We are at the beginning of the holiday season. I am sure some of you will be taking vacations and trips to see your family. Possibly your work hours will change throughout this holiday season. It most definitely is a whirlwind of plans and get-togethers. We as an organization will celebrate with our IE-CAMFT Holiday Party on December 14th open to chapter members. Will you be attending? Remember self-care includes enjoying the holidays with family, friends, and co-workers.
