CAMFT is pleased to announce its new Continuing Education Provider Approval (CEPA) program. CAMFT recognizes its responsibility to assist members of CAMFT and other BBS-licensed professionals with identifying and participating in quality continuing education (CE) as a means to ensure practice competence and professional growth.
The Board of Behavioral Sciences approved CAMFT as an approval agency on November 20, 2014. As a CEPA Agency, CAMFT has the authority to approve CE providers for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Professional Clinical Counselors, and Educational Psychologists. Providers seeking approval with CAMFT can submit an application for consideration after January 1, 2015 and CAMFT-approved providers can begin offering CE as of July 1, 2015.
